OREANDA-NEWS. May 30, 2008. Following its victory in the tender, ROSNO’s Astrakhan branch has insured obligatory motor third party liability (OMTPL) of drivers of the road vehicles owned by the Astrakhan branch of FGUP Rosmorport, and provided employee accident insurance coverage, reported the press-centre of ROSNO.

The OMTPL contract covers motor third party liability of drivers of 15 vehicles, for 6,000,000 roubles in total.

The accident insurance contract provides employee coverage against the following risks: death due to an accident; permanent and complete loss of general working ability due to an accident — with ascertained 1st or 2nd disability group; and partial loss of working ability due to an accident. Under this contract, the branch’s employees have been insured for the total insurance amount of 19,000,000 roubles.

The insurer selection procedure was organized in form of an open tender, pursuant to the Federal Law dated 21 July 2005 No.94-FZ "Placement of orders for supply of goods, works and services for public and municipal purposes".

The insurers OJSC SOGAZ and OJSC VSK had also participated in the tender.
