OREANDA-NEWS. May 29, 2008. Representatives of OJSC "Transsiberian Reinsurance Corporation" - director on reinsurance Anna Fadeeva and underwriter Ayzhan Bukeykhanova took part in the II International conference “Insurance in Central Asia” which took place on May 26-27, 2008 in Almaty (Republic of Kazakhstan).The conference was organized by the company “Russkiy Polis- informational group”

The conference increased its authority; it is attended by top-managers of the large insurance, broker, reinsurance and consulting companies and also by representatives of Supervising organs, national and international associates. This year in the work of the conference took part representatives from almost 20 countries.

Besides the direct participation in conference “Transsib Re” representatives took part in numerous negotiations with the Kazakhstan partners. The market of Kazakhstan is one of the most important for "Transsiberian Re". At present the Corporation cooperates in reinsurance with 12 (from 41 registered) insurance Kazakhstan companies, and also receives business through brokers, basically international ones.

According to the results of 2007 67 % from gross premium income in Republic of Kazakhstan fall on the insurers using reinsurance capacities of "Transsiberian Re”. The premiums received from the Kazakhstan companies, have made in 2007 more than 60 % in a foreign portfolio of Corporation. The fact that eight out of the top ten of the Kazakhstan market leaders have reinsurance protection of "Transsiberian Re" confirms steady position of the Corporation.
