According to the Investments and Capital Construction Department of IDGC of the North-West, the program of purchase of the equipment for re-equipment, reconstruction and new construction in branches of the operating company was approved. From 2008 to 2015, the volume of financial investments for these purposes will equal 10.8 billion rubles.

 The most significant amount of funds are planned to be assigned in "Kolenergo" for purchase of the equipment for development of the network infrastructure of the region for the sum of 3.8 billion rubles, "Vologdaenergo" - more than 2.1 billion rubles, "Komienergo" - 1.4 billion rubles, and "Arhenergo" - more than 1 billion rubles.

In the nearest 5 years, more than seventy power transformers will be purchased for the power facilities of IDGC of the North-West. In "Kolenergo" from 2008 to 2012, 20 new units of equipment will be bought, in "Vologdaenergo" - 17 ones will be purchased, and 14 transformers will be added to the stock of the power equipment in "Novgorodenergo".
