OREANDA-NEWS. On May 26, 2008 within the visit business delegation of the Chamber Trade ad Industry of Hannover to Azerbaycan 8th Azerbaijan-Germany Economic Forum was held. Around 30 officials and representatives of private sector of Germany included the delegation.

The economic forum held in Hyatt Regency Azerbaijan has been opened by the speech of the Ambassador of Germany Republic to Azerbaijan Mr. Per Christopher Stanchina.

The Minister of Economy, Labor and Transport of Nidersaksen province Mr. Walter Hirchen, Deputy Minister of Economic Development of Azerbaijan Mr. Mikayil Jabbarov, Chairman of the Executive Board of DAWF Azerbaijan Mr. Hakan Tin (Lufthansa SC) and President of Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Foundation (AZPROMO) Mr. Emil Majidov presented economy of both countries, mentioned the spheres and perspectives for cooperation.
