OREANDA-NEWS. May 28, 2008. State commission for conducting tenders on the sale of the state property to the foreign investors announced prolongation of the deadline for receiving Bids till June 24, 2008 of the previously announced tender for the sale of 50% share package of JSC "O'zpakhtamash", reported the press-centre of State commission for conducting tenders on the sale of the state property.

382 140 (three hundred eighty two thousand and one hundred forty) shares of common stock of JSC "O'zpakhtamash" constituting the aggregate of 50% of the Company's total issued shares are being offered for sale under the following conditions:

1. Starting bidding price - 6 567 500 (six million five hundred sixty seven thousand and five hundred) US dollars;

2. Investment requirement - not less than 5 500 000 (five million five hundred thousand) US dollars (during 5 years).

At that, the preference will be given to the company ready to offer the highest bid for the 50% of shares of the JSC "O'zpakhtamash" and undertake the highest value of investment obligations.

JSC "O'zpakhtamash" is situated in Tashkent city. The factory was put into operation in 1946. The main type of activity of the enterprise is production of cotton processing machines.

Tender participants or their authorized representatives, which have submitted Tender Bids in accordance with established procedures, have the right to participate at the opening of the packages with tenders Bids.
