OREANDA-NEWS. May 28, 2008. Last month’s production programme on all the production stages was fulfilled by the collective of the Works. 488.6 thousand tons of sinter was delivered to the blast furnace shop, i.e 3.8 thousand tons more than planned. 302.6 thousand tons of pig iron was produced or 8.5 tons more than planned. 376.7 thousand tons of steel was produced, i.e. 8.4 thousand tons more than according to the assignment. Production of finished rolled products amounted to 306.4 thousand tons, i.e. 1.5 thousand tons more than the control figure of the month.

The plan on realization of commercial goods was fulfilled by 102.9%.

In the current month it has been foreseen to produce 496 thousand tons of sinter, 306.1 thousand tons of pig iron and 315 thousand tons of rolled products.
