OREANDA-NEWS. The Krasnoyarsk branch of Bank Electronika marked its first anniversary on May 22. The regional office began working exactly one year early, in 2007.

The branch is primarily focused on providing services to small and medium-sized businesses: calculating and settlement services, loan extensions, maintaining current accounts and banking cards, and placing monetary funds in term deposits. According to a study by RBC.Rating, during its one year of work in Krasnoyarsk, Bank Electronika placed 28th by size of deposits among 60 banks working in the region and participating in the rating.

In October 2007 rating agency Expert RA awarded Bank Electronika an A (high level of reliability) rating. An A rating is an acknowledgement of Bank Electronika’s ability and readiness to full its obligations – current and those that may arise in the course of conducting business – on time and in full measure. Thanks to its solid positions   (Bank Electronika was rated 35th by loan portfolio size and 36th by net assets among banks working in Krasnoyarsk in 2007 by RBC.Rating) and fine reputation, the Krasnoyarsk branch is continually expanding its client banks and today its clients number more than 100 businesses. They include Kransnab, Gals, and Regtaim.

Elena Vasilyeva, member of the Management Board of Bank Electronika and Director of its Directorate for Small and Medium-Sized Businesses, said: “Notwithstanding the brief period of its activity, the Krasnoyarsk branch’s development indicators are very good. The branch is helping small and medium-sized businesses in the region, which is one of the most important goals in the strategy of Bank Electronika and a priority for the Russian economy as a whole.”
