OREANDA-NEWS. May 28, 2008. According to existing tradition, on the Chemical worker's Day, Empils sums up the results of work and defines plans for the future, while the company employees accept congratulations.

About 1000 people gathered at the ceremonial meeting in Rostov state musical theatre: they included the personnel of the company enterprises and the guests — representatives of the Rostov region and Rostov-on-Don administrative authorities, of relevant ministries, departments and trade unions. Yuri Ryazanov, the member of the board of directors of Novoye Sodrugestvo Industrial Union gave a speech of welcome on behalf of the holding. The fact is that there was another reason for the celebration — exactly 10 years ago, in May 1998, Novoe Sodruzhestvo became the strategic investor of Empils company.

In 2008 the plants   of Empils have manufactured 76 thousand tons of paint and varnish and 14 thousand tons of zinc white. By 2008 the company has performed large-scale work on product portfolio development, which reached 1310 commodity items. In Rostov-on-Don and Odessa the products are manufactured under 10 brands, focused on different consumer segments. The shipments are made to customers from Russia, Ukraine, Belorussia, Moldavia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tadzhikistan, Kirgizia, Mongolia, Lithuania, Poland, Finland, Italy, Germany.

This year TUV Rheinland InterCert international expert agency has carried out regular audit of Empils quality management system and confirmed its compliance with ISO 9001:2000 standard.

At the ceremonial meeting 33 best employees of the company were awarded certificates of honor and valuable presents, 6 employees were given the certificates "Veteran of work" and "Honored Veteran of work".

The celebration ended with the concert of musical band "Fabrika" ("Factory"), which performed its best songs for production employees, technical and engineering employees and managers.
