OREANDA-NEWS. May 27, 2008. The first lot of nuclear fuel for Kudankulam Nuclear Power Plant has been delivered to India, reports the press service of the Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited.

The first lot of uranium fuel for the 1st reactor of Kudankulam arrived on May 25.

Kudankulam NPP is supposed to have two 1,000MW units. The general contractor of the project is Atomstroyexport CJSC (Russia).
