OREANDA-NEWS. May 27, 2008. President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev met with the delegation headed by Sheikha Lubna Al Qasimi, Minister of Foreign Trade of the United Arab Emirates.
 
The existence of greater opportunities for further expansion of relations between the two countries in various spheres, including in the economic field was stressed during the meeting. It was emphasized that the successful visit of the President of Azerbaijan to the United Arab Emirates had played an important role in strengthening these relations. Confidence was expressed that the visit of the United Arab Emirates delegation to Azerbaijan would contribute to further development of bilateral relations in various fields, including in economic sphere.
