S7 Airlines Receives Two New Airbus A320 Airliners
OREANDA-NEWS. On May 23, 2008 largest air carrier by number of transported passengers on domestic routes, received two new medium-range Airbus A320 airliners directly from the manufacturer in Toulouse, France under an operational leasing agreement with ILFC Company, reported the press-centre of S7 Airlines.
The two new Airbus A320s are already being flown on S7 routes. The company will acquire six more new airplanes of this type by the end of 2008.
After commissioning, the new aircraft will transport passengers on the Moscow-Kemerovo, Moscow-Sochi, Moscow-Novosibirsk, Moscow-Frankfurt (Germany), Novosibirsk-Vladivostok and Novosibirsk-Beijing (PRC) routes.
The Airbus A320-200 is a modern narrow-body airplane designed to transport 164 passengers, with eight business class seats and 156 economy-class seats. Each new airplane has a spacious salon with new seat design and interior in bright tones. The aircraft has larger overhead bins, which creates additional convenience for passengers while reducing boarding and deboarding times.
Thanks to their numerous merits, these airliners have quickly acquired a reputation as very comfortable aircraft for flights on short and medium-range routes.
