OREANDA-NEWS. On 26 May 2008 was announced, that in the city of Blagoveshchensk the results of traditional summer Olympics of the Far Eastern energy specialists were summarized. The select teams of JSC Far Eastern Energy Company, JSC Far Eastern Generation Company and JSC Far Eastern Distribution Grid company have taken part at the competitions.

The teams competed in volleyball, mini football, track and field athletics. By the results of the Olympics the first all-team place went to the representatives of FEGC that have won championship in athletics and in volleyball. The select team of JSC FEEC that had won the first place in mini-football competitions and in the overall standing became the second. The representatives of FEDG became the third.

For participation in all-Russia Olympics the new select team will be formed on the basis of these results .Volleyball players of FEDG, football players of FEEC and the best athletes of the energy companies of the Far Easteern region will join the team.

The ninth final summer Olympics of RAO UES of Russia will take place from 20 till 23 of May in the city Konakovo, Tverskaya oblast.
