OREANDA-NEWS. May 22, 2008. IC ROSNO has insured unique exhibits from the personal collection of the fashion historian Alexander Vasilyev for the duration of the exhibition project "Premonition of Fashion. Cinema Awakening". The insurance amount is 152,000 euro, reported the press-centre of ROSNO.

The exhibition was opened in Moscow, in the Petrovsky Passage, under the auspices of the festival "Cherry-Tree Forest". Its exhibits are the unique, rarity costumes and accessories dated early 20th century.

The organizers, and Mr. Alexander Vasilyev himself, expect this exhibition to attain huge popularity. The event will feature vintage haute couture dresses (including clothes of the stars) made by the famous fashion houses in France, Germany, Austria, Italy and U.S., which have been never exhibited in Russia before; rarity accessories of the 30s and 40s, such as shoes, bonnets, bags, decorations, and photos of the star actors of black-and-white Hollywood, Paris and Berlin movies, and their autographs.
