CiG Announced New Managing Director of Investment Banking
OREANDA-NEWS. On 23 May 2008 CiG (Centreinvest Group], a leading Russian financial and investment services company and member of My Bank Group, announced that Artur Saribekov has joined the company as Managing Director of Investment Banking.
Mr.Saribekov’s responsibilities will include new business development and implementation of investment banking projects. He will be working closely with CiG Head of Investment Banking, Dmitry Popov.
Prior to joining CiG, Mr.Saribekov supervised numerous investment projects and M&A deals. He began his career in 1992 with Guta-Bank as director of its Trade Operations Department. As Senior Vice-President and Board member, he managed all of the Bank’s subsidiaries working in the financial markets. From 2001 to 2006, Mr.Saribekov worked at Alfa-Bank as Senior Vice-President and was responsible for debt markets. His duties included managing securities issues in the Russia, Ukraine and international markets as well as participation in structured financing deals and sales in the derivatives market.
“Among the many attributes Mr. Saribekov brings to CiG is his wide experience in investments, projects managing and structured financing,” said Alexey Gurin, CEO and Chairman of the Executive Board. “We are very pleased he has decided to join us.”
Mr.Saribekov graduated from the faculty of applied mathematics at Tbilisi State University in 1989. In 1996, he graduated from the Finance Academy under the Government of the Russian Federation, where he studied in the Banking and Insurance faculty.
