On 22 May 2008 was announced, that a meeting of the chief engineers for the JSC Transneft subsidiaries has been held in OJSC Diascan Center for Technical Diagnosis including a newly joined OJSC Transnefteproduct. Integration of the biggest oil transportation and petroleum products transportation systems appreciably attach value of the Center for Technical Diagnosis in company activity. Diascan’s experience, methods, techniques are applicable with the Transnefteproduct system.

Experts from the Transnefteproduct’s affiliates got to know of new in-line defectors models, visited a laboratory where defective and repair pipes are being tested, observed a site and pipeline defect museum. Conferees have attended reports about the technical features of the clearing units and the in-line defectors, about the defect durability calculation procedures, about the results for the OJSC Transnefteproduct’s pipelines defection inspection, about the requirements to diagnostic works preparation and execution.
