OREANDA-NEWS. May 19, 2008. SlavinvestBank announced its membership in the Asia Pacific Loan Market Association (APLMA), reported the press-centre of SlavinvestBank.

Achieving the goal to expand its international efforts, SlavinvestBank intends to actively cooperate with banks, which are APLMA members, aiming at covering new international loan markets as well as developing trade finance products. The first step is to be participation by the Bank in the 10th Annual Conference of the Association, which is to be held in June, 2008 in Shanghai. 

The main goal to be achieved by joining the Association is to establish contacts with financial institutions of the Asia-Pacific Region and to discuss ways of interbank cooperation.

APLMA was established in 1998 and now numbers 174 members, the bulk of which is the major global banks such as Agricultural Bank of China, Asia Development Bank, Bank of East Asia, China Development Bank, Mizuho Corporate Bank Ltd., Bank of Shanghai, Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation, Shanghai Pudong Development Bank, BA Asia, Bank of China, Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ Limited, HSBC Investment Bank Asia, National Australia Bank, Sumitomo Bank, Arab Bank plc and many other firms.
