OREANDA-NEWS. May 19, 2008. TNK-BP will pay \\$30 billion of taxes in 2008 compared to \\$20 billion paid in 2007, Timothy Summers, Chief Operating Officer of TNK-BP, said to journalists, reported the press-centre of TNK-BP.

“As to the taxes and other payments into the budget, given the oil price at roughly \\$100 per barrel, the payments of the company in 2008 will amount to approximately \\$30 billion,” said he.
Mr. Summers noted that the company has paid \\$48 billion in the last 5 years.
