OREANDA-NEWS. On May 16, 2008 business meetings between businessmen of Azerbaijan and Israel held in Park Inn hotel.

The event was organized within the visit of the Minister of Agriculture of Israel Mr.Shalom Simkhon to Baku.

Around 40 Azerbaijani and Israeli agricultural companies participated the event.

Mr.Simkhon mentioned the importance of such events for Israelli businessmen interested in doing business in Azerbaijan. Deputy Minister of Agriculture of Azerbaijan Mr.Bakhram Aliyev, Deputy Minister of Economic Development Mr.Mikayil Jabbarov and President of AZPROMO Mr.Emil Majidov made speaches about economy of Azerbaijan and agricultural sector particularly.
