On 20 May 2008 Southern Telecommunications Company (“UTK”), the principal fixed-line telecommunications provider for Russia’s Southern Federal District reported that on May 20, 2008 the Company will begin a foreign part of its road show in respect of the issue and distribution of UTK’s credit notes for the amount of 3.5 billion roubles. On May 20-21, 2008 the Company’s management will meet with investors in London and on May 22, 2008 – in Geneva and Zurich.
