OREANDA-NEWS. May 19, 2008. Moldovan wine producers have got three silver medals at the 15th issue of an international contest of tasting wines and strong alcoholic beverages, Concours Mondial de Bruxelles 2008, reported the Official website www.vinmoldova.md.

Moldovan wine makers participated with 12 types of wine in the 2008 issue of the contest, held in the French city of Bordeaux.

The medals went to the wines produced by the stock company Acorex Wine Holding - Amaro de la Valea Perjei 2003, Pinot Grigio/ Aligote/ Sauvignon Blanc 2005 and Pinot Noir 2005, with the last two being from the Private reserve series.

During the 14th issue of the contest, held in the Netherlands in 2007, Moldovan wines won three gold medals and three silver ones.
