OREANDA-NEWS. On May 16-17, 2008 VSMPO-AVISMA Corporation took part in the XIII Russian Economic Forum, which was held in Yekaterinburg, reported the press-centre of VSMPO-AVISMA.

The Forum agenda: "Efficient Investment Policy of the Regions – Key Factor for Sustainable Economic Development in Russia".

The specific nature of this forum is that in addition to traditional debates constructive discussion of real problems is provided for. VSMPO-AVISMA team is headed by the Corporation Director General – Vladislav Tetyukhin.

He gave a talk on the project of the Special Economic Area “Titanium Valley”, where on the basis of the Company investment and innovation experience employment of high technologies and deployment of high-technology production sites intended for manufacture of titanium finished products mainly for aviation, power engineering and medicine around the primary production site (VSMPO) is envisaged.
