OREANDA-NEWS. On May 14, 2008 Board of Directors of OGK-4 approved ENKA Insaat ve Sanayi A.S. (Turkey) as EPC-Contractor for implementation of the investment project for construction of CCGT-400 power unit at Yajvinskaya GRES, reported the press-centre of OGK-4.
 
EPC-Contractor for new power unit construction at Yajvinskaya GRES was selected as a result of the open tender announced by OGK-4 in 2007. As per tender commission ENKA Insaat ve Sanayi A.S. quoted the best technical and economical conditions for project implementation. Signing of EPC-Contract, which contains design works, equipment and materials supply, construction and commissioning of single-shaft 400 MW power unit (turnkey construction), is planned for June 2008. EPC-Contractor will supply Yajvinskaya GRES with the equipment for the new power unit. Equipment is manufactured by Siemens AG (power unit 1xSCC5-4000F-1S).
 
OGK-4 Yajvinskaya GRES branch is located in Yajva, Perm region. The power plant was commissioned in 1963. Installed capacity of Yajvinskaya GRES amounts to 600 MW. The power plant produced 4,295.9 million kWh of electricity in 2007, 5.4% increase over the electricity production in 2006. The investment project on the construction of the new power unit at Yajvinskaya GRES on the basis of CCGT-400 is included in OGK-4 investment program for the period till 2011.
