OREANDA-NEWS. May 16, 2008. TNK-BP is not expecting drop of its oil production in the Orenburg Region in the nearest five years, Sergey Brezitsky, Executive Vice President, Upstream, TNK-BP, said to the press, reported the press-centre of TNK-BP.

According to him, the current oil production of the company in the Orenburg Region is more than 17 million tons a year. This level of oil production will be maintained by means of drilling works, geological exploration, productivity growth, and other measures.

Mr. Brezitsky noted that TNK-BP is going to invest \\$650–700 million into utilization of associated petroleum gas in the Orenburg Region, which will help the company to raise the utilization of associated petroleum gas up to 95%, expand the Zaikinsk Gas Processing Plant, and construct gas compressor stations.
