OREANDA-NEWS. On 19 May 2008 was announced, that laboratory of press and forging and rolling production successfully carried out the package of research works and produced high quality steel forgings for shaft fasteners under conditions of the institute's pilot production.

Laboratory of tool steels performs complex works on selection of optimal steel grades and arranges production and delivery of paper-cutting knives according to customer requirements for big publishing and printing houses of Ukraine. Interested enterprises are welcome for cooperation.

Laboratory of powder and special metallurgy in cooperation with Foreign department performs research works on the process for production of powders with assigned granulometric composition on the order from Hoganas (Sweden). The powders are supposed to be used for manufacture of products by injection formation.
