OREANDA-NEWS. On 19 May 2008 was announced, that an auction dedicated to the 15th anniversary of introducing the national currency was held in Bishkek on selling the following collection coins (which are not sold at NBKR cash offices any longer): "Manas-1000", "Khan-Tengry", "Arkhar", "Edelweiss", "10 years of the national currency", "Genesis of the Kyrgyz Nationality", "Shanghai Cooperation Organization". 34 silver collection coins have been presented in 16 lots. The starting price for all the coins was 55 800 soms. The total cost of the sale constituted 128,400 soms. All the lots put up for the auction have been sold.

Beside this, incentive prizes have been awarded at the auction to the first buyer, to the most active participant, to the buyer, who has bought most of the lots and to the buyer, who has bought the most expensive lot.
