OREANDA-NEWS. May 16, 2008. It will be lead by the first deputy prime-minister, Minister of Economy and Trade Igor Dodon.

The Ministry of Economy and Trade representatives say that our country’s participation in the meeting is very important for consolidation of cooperation with the EBRD as well as for general presentation of Moldova’s investment environment at the Businessmen Forum that traditionally takes place at the same time with the annual meeting.

At a plenary session Igor Dodon as EBRD manager from Moldova will present a report. At the Businessmen Forum members of the Moldovan delegation will hold a presentation of Moldova and speak about structure reforms carried out in the country, improvement of the investment environment, consolidation of the business environment, extension of trading relationships, and business development prospects.

Within EBRD forum in Kiev the Moldovan delegation will also hold talks with foreign businessmen during which potential investors will receive information on the country’s investment environment. Igor Dodon mentioned that for the first time in the history of EBRD Board of Directors’ meetings Moldovan wines will be exclusively served at dinner during the forum in Kiev.
