OREANDA-NEWS. May 16, 2008. A single tariff network will be fully introduced for those people working at institutions and organizations of the budget sector on September 1, 2008, according to a government resolution, reported the Official website www.kmu.gov.ua.

According to the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers, upon the introduction of single tariffs, an average wage of cultural and educational workers, medics and other budget workers will grow by 30%, while that of highly qualified workers by 45-65%.

Ukrainian Premier Yulia Tymoshenko said that according to a joint agreement between the government, trade unions and employers, the creation of single tariffs would become the first step to meet the wishes of trade unions representing budget workers. She said that the issue of the accelerated introduction of the single tariff network had been agreed with the Finance Ministry, the Economy Ministry, and the labor and Social Policy Ministry.
