OREANDA-NEWS. May 16, 2008. OJSC "RODOVID BANK" has concluded the Agreement concerning the attraction of syndicated loan in total amount - 10 million USD. Standard Bank Plc (Great Britain) was the main sponsor of this deal. Four financial institutions took part in this syndicate. The rate on attracted syndicated loan made 6M LIBOR +3%. Loan facilities will be directed on the general financing of the Bank’s activity. "Market of external loans is the comfortable and effective method of resources’ receipt for domestic banks. In the nearest future we will attract 45 million USD at foreign organizations", – Mr. Denys Gorbunenko, the Chairman of the Board of RODOVID BANK, said.

According to Olga Pidoprygora, the vice-president of the Bank, the Agreements concerning the loan for the Bank by such enterprises such as FMO (NEDERLANDSE FINANCIERINGS-MAATSCHAPPIJ VOOR ONTWIKKELINGSLANDEN N.V.) and DEG (DEUTSCHE INVESTITIONS- UND ENTWICKLUNGSGESELLSCHAFT MBH) are in process of signing. Facilities that were got within the framework of credit line (45 million USD), will be directed on such programs of the Bank, as mortgage crediting and crediting of small and medium-sized business. According to Denys Gorbunenko, till the end of 2008 year, total sum of external loans, attracted by RODOVID BANK, can make 150-200 million USD.
