OREANDA-NEWS. On 15 May 2008 was announced, that exhibition the Exhibition "Energetika plus Elektrotechnika – 2008” was  held on May 13 2008 - May 16 2008 in Lenexpo .

The exhibition is organized with the support of the Economical Development and Trade Russian Federation Ministry, Industry and Power Ingineering Russian Federation Ministry, St.-Petersburg Government, Leningrad Region Government, St.-Petersburg Legislative Assembly, Leningrad Region Legislative Assembly, North-West District Russian Federation Power Engineering Agency Regional Department, The Union of Power Engineers of the North-West of Russia, St.-Petersburg Gas club.

The exhibition has been held since 1994 and for the last years it won the acceptance among participants and visitors.

In 2005 the exhibition attracted more than 300 exhibitors from 10 countries: Armenia, Belarus, China, Germany, Italy, Poland, Russia, Ukraine, Finland, France.

The participants from 39 cities and regions of Russia were represented at the exhibition. Among them there were: 176 exhibitors from St-Petersburg and region, 61 exhibitor from Moscow and region, 51 exhibitor from other cities.

More than 70% of exhibitors, such as Tyco Electronics Raychem GmbH, "Vzlyot", FinPro Marketing Ltd, "EFA-research Institute", etc. are regular participants of the exhibition. The amount of exhibitors increases annually owing to the firms, participating for the first time. The exhibition was attended by 15 000 visitors from different regions of Russia. A number of actions were held in the framework of the exhibition: a conference "Energy Safety of Russia", presentations of the firms-participants

The exhibition program were organized with an active participation of Russian Federation North-West Energy Inspection, St.-Petersburg Government Committee of energy and engineering supply, North-West District Russian Federation Power Engineering Agency Regional Department, The Union of Power Engineers of the North-West of Russia, St.-Petersburg Gas club.
