SEB Bank Receives Global Finance Best Bank in Lithuania Award
OREANDA-NEWS. On May 13, 2008 Global Finance, influential international business and financial markets magazine, has awarded the country’s major bank – SEB Bank – with the title of the Best Bank in Lithuania 2008. In the Central and Eastern European review on the best banks in growing markets, SEB Bank has been ranked the leader of the Lithuanian banking sector for the tenth consecutive year, reported the press-centre of SEB Bank.
“Our objective has always been to be the leading financial services providing group in Lithuania, therefore, it is a pleasure to see that every year our efforts and the effectiveness of our long-term business strategy has been noted and recognised by experts of global financial markets,” said Audrius Ziugzda, President of SEB Bank.
A. Ziugzda went on to say that this year SEB Bank will, as before, have key focus on service quality and customer satisfaction, on the development of its network, on updating its e-banking services and on increasing their diversity.
Key criteria that Global Finance has followed in assessing financial institutions include assets growth, profitability, strategic partnership relations, customer service quality, competitive price policy and novelty in their services.
At the level of the entire Central and Eastern European region, the title of the best banking services provider went to RZB and Raiffeisen International.
Global Finance has produced its fifteenth annual bank assessment report. The magazine has about 50 thousand subscribers and over 284 thousand readers in 158 countries worldwide. The majority of them are chief executives and financial experts of the world’s major leading companies and institutions.
Global Finance publishes its detailed review on Central and Eastern European banks in its special issue in May 2008.
