OREANDA-NEWS. May 12, 2008. According to Federal Customs Service, the country's gas exports increased by 32% y/y to 53,4bn m 3 in Jan-Mar 2008.

Out of that, natural gas exports to non-CIS countries jumped by 36,9% y/y to 47,9bn m 3 in the reporting period.

In value terms, natural gas exports went up by 77,7% y/y in Jan-Mar, with revenues from gas exported to the foreign countries reaching USD 17,119bn.

Russia ’s gas exports decreased by 5,88% y/y to 171,3bn m 3 in 2007 and went down by 0,14% y/y in value terms to USD 42,755bn.
