OREANDA-NEWS. On May 08, 2008 Ukio bankas campaign “Are You Ready for UEFA EURO 2008TM?” has ended. Five winners having acquired MasterCard Football payment cards during this campaign were selected. They will have the chance to watch European Football Championship to be held in Austria and Switzerland in June, reported the press-centre of Ukio bankas.

The lucky participants of this campaign received 5 prizes: each of two winners received two tickets to the quarterfinal, each of other two winners won two tickets to the semi-final, and the campaign’s luckiest participant, Rita Vaitkiene, won the main prize – two tickets to the final. The main prize winner was also presented with airline tickets and a stay at a hotel.

“Ukio bankas is an active supporter of football and therefore we want to grant the chance to our clients, including a number of football fans, to watch the biggest football event of the year, i.e. the European Championship,” Jurate Kajackiene, director of Ukio bankas Payments Cards Department, said.

All the clients having acquired MasterCard Football payment cards, distributed by Ukio bankas, during the campaign held from 5 March through 4 May this year participated in the campaign. Persons having acquired these cards earlier were also eligible for the prizes if new clients have chosen the card on their recommendation during this campaign. The winners were determined by random computer selection.

The European Football Championship will be held in 8 cities of Austria and Switzerland on 7-29 June. Sixteen teams from all over Europe, divided into four groups, will take part in it.
