OREANDA-NEWS. On 13 May 2008 was announced, that on the eve of Victory Day solemn putting of flowers to enterprise memorial of Military glory took place at Sevmash.

4260 persons were mobilized from plant No.402, 1512 shipbuilders did not come back from World War. Names of died on battle fields are cast on memorial plates, situated near museum.

Veterans of war and labour, production collectives, heads of enterprise under the leadership of Director General Nikolay Kalistratov took part in solemn ceremony. “Today your valuable experience helps us in solving the greatest tasks on strengthening Naval Fleet military ability and Sevmash development, - said Nikolay Kalistratov. – We try to be as you and remain true to labour traditions. Thank you for your immortal feat on the war, for all that you have done for Sevmash!”

Indian partners of Sevmash and crews of repaired and built submarines and ships also put their wreath to commemorate great feat of Russian soldier.

Today meetings are arranged in labour collectives and Veterans' Council. Those who cannot attend them are visited by Sevmash workers at home. This day will be finished in the House of Shipbuilders with solemn concert.
