OREANDA-NEWS. On 13 May 2008 was announced, that film of Sevmash TV studio “Submarine fleet legend” is recognized to be the best film about submariners on the Vth International festival of marine and adventure films “Sea appeal”.

127 works from 20 countries of the world were presented to judges of festival which has taken place in Saint Petersburg. TV studio “Sevmashfilm” takes part in this competition for the third time.

“Submarine fleet legend” is film about the first missile carrier of the second generation К-137 “Leninets”. This film describes the history of building and testing the first nuclear submarine with ballistic missiles, which initiated the greatest series of nuclear submarine in the history of submarine building.

Head of information and advertising activity department Alexander Kholodov (film producer) brought diploma and present from Saint Petersburg. The best films of festival will be shown in Severodvinsk. Such demonstrations were arranged twice and each time they were a success. Pupils, students, veterans, militarymen, workers of military enterprises who are concerned about Russian submarine fleet fate, gathered in the hall.
