OREANDA-NEWS. May 08, 2008. Denmark will help Ukraine in implementing modern technologies in housing and public utilities. This became possible after signing of a memorandum of understanding and cooperation between Ukraine's Ministry of Housing and Public Utilities and the Danish Bureau of Local Heating, reported the Official website www.kmu.gov.ua.

Talks preceded signing of the memorandum to involve Ukrainian experts in a series of international seminars aimed at studying the Danish experience to enhance energy efficiency and renewable energy development. The Danish Industry Confederation plans to organize the seminars in frames of the UN Copenhagen Summit in 2009.

The Danish Bureau of Local Heating is ready to shortly hold seminars in Ukraine to share experience in addressing waste processing problems, water drain purification, renewable energy sources use (bio-energy, wind and tidal power electric generators, apartment water heating units).

The Danish party also considers a possibility to modernize in Vinnytsia (Central Ukraine) a heat supply system and build waste processing plants etc.
