OREANDA-NEWS. On 12 May 2008 Basic Element announced that Daniel Major is leaving his post as head of the company’s Resources Sector.
 
“I had tremendous pleasure working at Basic Element and have gained invaluable experience. In my four years working in Russia, we’ve managed to achieve a lot and have created a cohesive team which is capable of continuing the work we’ve started,” said Daniel.
 
“Daniel led the Company’s Resources Sector since its foundation in 2005 and made a significant contribution to its formation and development. We express our gratitude to Daniel for his great work and wish him continued professional success,” said G.T Moldazhanova, Chief Executive Officer of Basic Element.
 
Daniel Major begins working at the company Ecometals on May 19, 2008 as Chief Operating Officer. Daniel has accepted the offer to remain as an Independent Director in the capacity of Chairman of the Board of Directors at Strikeforce Mining and Resources Ltd., part of the Resources Sector of the company. 
 
Konstantin Akimov, Director, Manufacturing Assets at Basic Element, has been appointed Acting Head of the Resources Sector.
