OREANDA-NEWS. On 12 May 2008 was announced, that based on the results of VolgaTelecom’s operations in Q I-2008 RAS proceeds amounted to RUR 6 471,2 million (growth rate of 107,5% vs. Q 1-2007). VolgaTelecom’s communications services revenues amounted to RUR 6 154,5 million (108,1%), sales profit – RUR 1 419 million (90,4%). The growth of VolgaTelecom’s proceeds in Q 1-2008 vs. similar period of the prior year was facilitated by the growth of revenues from providing the services of Internet access over leased channels (212,9%) and from the services of intrazonal connections of fixed line subscribers with cellular communication subscribers (112,4%).
