OREANDA-NEWS. May 8, 2008. The managing director of RAO UES of Russia OJSC Andrey Rappoport has been elected the vice chairman of the board.

The first meeting of the Board of Directors of INTER RAO UES took place on Apr 23 2008. The new board was elected on Mar 28 2008 during the meeting of the Board of Directors of RAO UES of Russia OJSC, which acts as the general assembly of shareholders of Sochi TPP (after renaming of INTER RAO UES OJSC).

The new Board of Directors of INTER RAO UES:

— the head of the Federal Energy Agency (Rosenergo) Dmitry Akhanov,
— the chairman of the Board of Directors of RAO UES of Russia Alexander Voloshin,
— the deputy minister of industry and energy of Russia Andrey Dementyev,
— the chairman of the State Corporation “Bank for Development and Foreign Economic Affairs” (Vnesheconombank) Vladimir Dmitriyev,
— the director general of INTER RAO UES Yevgeny Dod,
— the director general of Rosatom State Nuclear Energy Corporation Sergey Kiriyenko,
— the deputy minister of economic development and trade of Russia Andrey Klepach,
— the member of the board, the managing director of RAO UES of Russia Andrey Rappoport,
— the director of Aromenergoprom OJSC Vladimir Travin,
— the industry and energy minister of Russia Viktor Khristenko,
— the managing director of Troika Dialogue Andrey Sharonov.
