OREANDA-NEWS. On 08 May 2008 was announced, that in the 1st quarter 2008, IDGC of Centre received 5,301 applications for technological connection (TC) to electric systems of the company for the total capacity about 650 MW. There were no refusals in connection during this period.

The concluded TC contracts equaled 3,224 pieces for the total capacity of about 250 MW. It is by 30 % more than in the similar period of 2007. In total, in the 1st quarter of 2008, the amount of 2,335 connections (TC certificates were signed) were executed for the total capacity of about 52 MW.
In 2007 IDGC of Centre executed connections for the total capacity of about 500 MW. 'In 2008, IDGC of Centre plans to connect consumers to the electric networks for the total capacity of more than 700 MW. This provisional figure can be revised towards the larger one,' Chief of the Technological Connections Department of IDGC of Centre Ravil Aliaskarov said.

Projects on construction and expansion of network facilities covered all 11 regions of IDGC of Centre’s presence.

The largest projects of the 1st quarter 2008 were actions within the limits of realization of national projects. Thus, within the limits of the “Afordable Habitation” national project on the territory of the Belgorod area, Belgorodenergo branch of IDGC of Centre performed connection to electric networks of 3,277 sites in the areas of the individual housing construction. Here 192.3 km of transmission lines of 0.4-110 kV were put into operation, 48 transformer substations of 6/10-0.4 kV for the total capacity of 13.44 MVA were installed. Installed were 26 km of networks of external illumination, 940 lamps, and 112 accounting distribution boxes allowing to perform accurate accounting of the electric power. It should be noted that the company constructs networks in the areas of the individual housing construction implementing only modern materials and technologies.

Besides, the company connected to electric networks such large enterprises as JSC Belgorodsky Bekon animal feed mill (2 MW), JSC Russkie Proteiny complex for processing biological waste in Zhimolostnoe settlement (2.1 MW) and many other facilities. In the butcher's department of PF-Novo-Ezdotskoe Ltd. in Maslova Pristan village (3.9 MW), a distribution item was installed, on the basis of which 110 kV Krutoy Log substation is planned to be constructed.

Within the limits of the “Development of agrarian and industrial complex” national project, Kurskenergo branch of IDGC of Centre installed a two-transformer substation for the total capacity of 1,260 kVA, a 7.5- kilometer line for the "Europe" commercial dairy farm in the Oktybrsky village of the Rylsky area of the Kursk region.

In total, more than 42 km of transmission lines for 10-0.4 kV and 12 transformer substations for the total capacity of 4.4 MVA (megavolt-ampere) were constructed in 2007 for technological connection of objects of the agrarian and industrial complex to the Kurskenergo networks. This provides power supply of the buildings for raising and fattening pigs meant for tens thousand pigs. Among them are the following companies: JSC Nadezhda, JSC Agroalians YUG, LLC Avangard. The power was supplied to the construction sites of buildings for raising and fattening pigs of LLC Psyolskoe, dairy complexes of Agrostroyservis, LLC Chernozemie and Evropa.
