OREANDA-NEWS. On 08 May 2008 was announced, that according to the results of industrial activity in the 1st quarter 2008, supply to the network of IDGC of Centre equaled 17 billion 767 million kWh, including 15 billion 792 million kWh of productive supply. Growth of productive supply in 2008 equaled 5.37 %, or 806 million kWh.

Losses of the electric power in the first quarter 2008 amounted to 11.12 %, or 1 billion 975 million kWh. It is necessary to note that positive dynamics of reduction in losses in the grid equipment of IDGC of Centre is still kept. Thus, losses for the similar period of 2006 - 2007 equaled 13.04 % and 11.28 %.

In order to reduce losses of the electric power in the networks, IDGC of Centre realizes organizational and technical actions, including improvement of the system of the commercial accounting: within the limits of the works held, devices of account are installed on facades of buildings (remote items of accounting), replacement of wires by greater section by the overloaded electric mains, replacement of the overloaded transformers, replacement of usual wires by self-bearing isolated wires. The special attention is given to realization of works directed to revealing unaccounted consumption and consumption without conclusion of the contract.

 In 2007 IDGC of Centre within the limits of “the procedure of formation of programs of decrease in losses of the electric power in DGC electric networks” (Order No.19/290 as of 26.12.2006), power saving programs were developed for 2008. The general scheduled effect from implementation of the actions directed to decrease of losses in 2008 will equal 160.7 million kWh (including due to organizational actions - 89.7 million kWh, technical actions - 15.8 million kWh, due to improvement of accounting the electric power - 55.2 million kWh).
