OREANDA-NEWS. On 04 May 2008 was announced, that the project of reforming Irkutskenergo in May will be considered by the interdepartmental commission for the reform of electric power industry.

Irkutskenergo has not passed division by kinds of business yet. The company owns both the generating and network assets. The full interdiction on overlapping exclusive and competitive kinds of activity in power industry comes into effect on 1 July 2008. The State owns 40 % of Irkutskenergo; 47.7 % belongs to Evrosibenergo (it manages power assets of the "base element").

Total installed electric capacity of Irkutskenergo equals 12.88 thousand MW; thermal capacity amounts to 13 thousand Gcal/h. The value of Irkutskenergo corresponds to \\$344 for a kilowatt. According to IFC Solid, the fair price of ordinary shares of Irkutskenergo is within the limits of \\$0.94 - \\$1.89. As of 16 April 2008, they are underestimated by 104 %.
