OREANDA-NEWS. April 30, 2008.  Engels Pipe Plant (ESTAR Group) beat its target shipment of finished products in March 2008. The shipment volume reached 6,420 t vs. target 6,100 t (a 10% increase on a y-o-y basis). Shipment amounted to 5,813 t last March.

The plant produced 5,831 t of pipes, out of which 5,734 t of pipes for water and gas conveyance and 97 t of shaped pipes (since operations at 17-60 mill were suspended because of conversion of the cutting device). Output growth reached 6%. In March 2007, output was 5,510 t of finished products, including 4,233 t of pipes for water and gas conveyance, and 1,277 t on shaped pipes.

In 1Q08, the plant produced finished products to the volume of 13,683 t, and dispatched 14,903 t to consumers.
