OREANDA-NEWS. On April 28, 2008 as reported by the company without providing the accounting standards used, net profit of Russian oil producer and refiner Tatneft in 2007 went up by 23% y/y to RUB 43,8bn (USD 1,86bn).

Sales revenues increased 13,4% y/y to RUB 197,5bn, while pre-tax profit amounted to RUB 61bn.

According to the Industry and Energy Ministry, Tatneft based in constituent republic of Tatarstan produced a total of 25,74mn tons in 2007, which is a 6 th largest oil output among Russian oil companies.
