OREANDA-NEWS. On 29 April 2008 was announced, that on 19 April, the ordinary Summer Energy Specialists Olympics among employees of the Far Eastern Energy Company took place at the stadium Dynamo.

Holding of the annual Olympics has become the kind tradition   of the energy specialists, however this year the competitions   have been carried out in the new format. For the first time the best teams of the energy sales branches and daughter dependent companies from Vladivostok, Blagoveshchensk and Birobidzhan have taken part at this event. All in all 120 participants have arrived in Vladivostok.

Victor MYASNIK, Director General of JSC FEEC and Igor PUSHKAREV Member of the Federation Council have directed the welcoming words to the  participants of Olympics: "Our task is to support such kinds of initiations of the large-scale and small-scale companies, as sport development and propaganda of the healthy way of living is one of the priority directions of Primorsky region development.”

Five teams during several days tried strength against each other in the athletics, futsal(mini-football) and volleyball. As the result the first place in the overall standings went to the branch of JSC FEEC – Khabarovskenergosbyt, the cup for the victory in volleyball and athletics has already been forwarded to Khabarovsk. The cup for the victory in futsal was won by Amurenergosbyt.

All winners and  participants of the summer Olympics have been rewarded with diplomas, certificates, cups and souvenirs with the JSC FEEC’s logo.

The Olympics has shown that the employees of the Far Eastern Energy Company are not only high- level specialists in their field, but also active energy people, looking after their health.
