OREANDA-NEWS. April 29, 2008. Zlatoust Metallurgical Plant (ZMP, ESTAR Group) underwent the first compliance audit of the quality management system with ISO 9001:2000 requirements.

TUV representatives visited main workshops of the plant, its logistics department, quality control department, technical department and ESTAR-Zlatoust Trading House. No deficiencies threatening successful functioning of the quality management system was identified.

ZMP was one of the first enterprises in Russia to be granted a certificate of compliance of the quality management system with the international standards. The plant has passed regular annual audit since 1993 to comply with the most stringent requirements. Recertification is carried out once in 3 years. JSC ZMP maintained its another Certificate in 2007. The first compliance audit will be summarized in May.
