OREANDA-NEWS. April 28, 2008. Commercial diplomacy and trade policy were the themes of the seminar organized by the OSCE Centre in Ashkhabad with assistance of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan

The specialists of the Ministry of Economy and Development, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry took part in the seminar.

The educational course delivered by the experts from Great Britain and Ukraine was aimed at providing technical expertise in trade policy, improving the bargaining skills and trade agreement design and increasing the professional skills of negotiation of future specialists.

The training programme included the presentations, interactive group discussions and role plays. A British expert Mrs. Kamala Dawar noted that the young specialists participating in the seminar had a yearning to improve their professional skills and knowledge in international commercial and trade negotiation so that they would be of great use to their country.
