OREANDA-NEWS. On 25 April 2008 was announced, that the winners of annual national IT Leader Prize were announced at celebration ceremony at Forum Hall.

28 organizations and companies of main sectors of Russian industry became the contest laureates. IT Leader Prize Expert council was presented by leaders of Russian offices of worldwide IT-enterprises, mass-media and IT-consulting headmen.

IT Leader Prize is awarded to the person who takes the lead in implementation of information technologies that enhance organization performance and improve standards of social life. The JSC "Seventh Continent" and personally CIO of the Company Andrey Pachikin was awarded by special prize "For outstanding contribution to IT development in Russia".

Key criteria for choosing the Prize winners is innovations in organization's and CIO's activities, his professional character and personal contribution in the development industry sector and country.
