President of Bank of Moscow Chaired RSPP Meeting
OREANDA-NEWS. April 28, 2008. The Coordination Council of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (RSPP) for the Central Federal District (CC RSPP CFD) held a meeting chaired by President of The Bank of Moscow Andrei Borodin. The participants in the meeting discussed a number of issues including the progress in the preparation of a CFD Investment Strategy and experience sharing among CFD regions aimed at securing a higher real content of salaries and wages.
The keynote speakers discussed, among other things, the implementation of the Trilateral Agreement on the Regulation of Social and Labour Relations in the CFD Regions for 2008-2010, signed in 2007, in the Orlovskaya, Belgorodskaya and Yaroslavskaya regions as well as the progress in the integration of the Agreement within their enterprises.
On the margins of the meeting, the Coordination Council also discussed the development and functioning of the Single Electronic Commerce System (ECS).
The basic idea behind the ECS is that the participating companies post on its web-resource an order for equipment or services and other enterprises (with an access to the System) post in turn their supply offers with all essential conditions. The customer can thus study the offers and select the best one.
The main advantages of the system lie in its transparency and capability to ensure for hundreds of companies an equal access to orders.
The single e-commerce system has been in operation since 2002 and provided a foundation for successful development of the inter-sectoral market.
According to the developers, the introduction of the System permits businesses to economise 5% to 20% of goods procurement funds. "The Coordination Council of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs for the Central Federal District is committed to enhancing the performance and competitiveness of the District’s businesses, "CC RSPP CFD Chairman, President of The Bank of Moscow Andrei Borodin noted. "The CC RSPP CFD will encourage the development of a single information space: economizing on procurement will allow companies to reduce their costs and hence the ultimate cost of output."
In addition to holding tenders, the ECS makes it possible to clear transactions within the system, get electronic bank guarantees, simplify borrowings procedures and so forth.
The CC RSPP CFD meeting also made a decision to fund the District stage of the Masters of Central Russia professional skill contest. The contest prize money will amount to 700,000 roubles.
