On 25 April 2008 was announced, that Andrei Lapshin, the President of MVK International Exhibition Company, had a business meeting with Mr Shoichi Sakanishi, the Vice-President of the Japanese Association of Analytical Equipment Manufacturers. The meeting was held at the Crocus Expo exhibition centre.

Mr Sakanishi stated Japanese businessmen were interested in participating in the A-TESTex exhibition. He highlighted the fact that Japanese manufacturers are eager to organize the collective national stand of the analytical equipment manufacturers next year at A-TESTex 2009. He also added that the Japanese Association is experienced in both organizing and participating in same-theme shows. Thus, for instance, it is holding the analytical JAIMASHOW 2008 exhibition in the city of Chiba in September.

Andrei Lapshin stated that the negotiations between MVK and Japanese Association of Analytical Equipment Manufacturers were successful. He also expressed his hope for this work meeting at A-TESTex 2008 would lay the foundation for the long-term exhibition cooperation between the two countries.
