OREANDA-NEWS. April 25, 2008. Bank “Saint Petersburg” issued a total of 500,000 cards.

The holder of the jubilee chip card Visa Electron – Bank “Saint Petersburg” is a leading research worker of the N.N. Petrov Oncology Research Institute, a client of the Bank. The Institute’s employees begin to receive their wages with the Bank’s cards.

Currently, the Bank’s card network includes 329 ATMs (including at all Metro stations) and 1,395 terminals at the merchant’s outlets.

The Bank renders its services to more than 3,000 companies and organizations under its payroll programs.

Bank “Saint Petersburg” is a principal member of Visa International and MasterCard and has its own processing center.

Pavel Filimonenok, Chairman Deputy of Bank “Saint Petersburg” says: “The card business is one of the Bank’s priority areas in the retail services. We consider the issue of the jubilee card as an intermediary result of our work, which we grow gradually with all products. In the near future we offer our customers a new innovative card-based product which has no analogue on the market”.
